The June that is…
Well, there may be something good to come of all this for June anyways. Even though I’ve been too busy to upload, the good is that I can examine what happens if I stop working for a month - and so far there are some surprising results. Shutterstock, for example, is a site where you must “feed the beast” and always upload. Yesterday was my best Saturday in 6 weeks even though I haven’t uploaded a new shot in awhile.
Another benefit - all of my Qs are caught up except Fotolia. DT, BSP, SXP - all at 0 pending. So as of June 30, I should have a very accurate count of my “going into summer” portfolios!
Are there more benefits to not having uploaded in a couple weeks? I’m not sure. I haven’t had enough time to contemplate it. I hope to actually get some images edited this coming week and then uploaded asap.

Has all this break of not uploading helped you with Yay? I am still on zero Dls there and dont know anyone personally that has had one yet either!
Its probably going to be another few months before we see some real action, i guess.

Gotta love the beauty of building a passive income machine! It sounds like taking a month off afforded you some important lessons. No doubt two months off would look much different!

Yay has no sales yet - but it’s new, I didn’t expect 10 sales a week there for awhile. I’ll give it time - I dropped almost 1500 images there so I’m good for now. I know a few people who have had DLs.
As far as passive income - I love it. Everyone talks about “feeding the beast” on SS - I have had fewer than 50 images approved on SS this month, ALL fractals, and my sales are BME. I’m happy with that! I don’t want to see what 2 months off would look like as I need to increase my income for something special we’re doing in the fall.
